Completed in the fall of 1961, the Physical Education Building features a 4,000 seat basketball arena, swimming pool, an indoor track, racquetball courts and weight room facilities. Space in the Physical Education Building can be rented as long as it does not disrupt regular academic programs and activities of the campus.  Students, faculty, staff and organizations affiliated with the University shall have priority in use over anyone not associated with 麻豆官网首页入口免费.  Rent and charges for use of a space in the Physical Education Building will be assesed to offset the costs, maintenance, and damage to the facility.

Alterowitz (Main) Gymnasium

  • Hardwood floor gymnasium with seating for 2,330 spectators
  • Multiple layout options (please contact us for details)
  • Rental $100.00/day: Includes basketball hoops, guest wifi (limited bandwidth), and limited tables/ chairs, limited tables and chairs, supervisor for after-hours events, light custodial at end of night.
  • Depending on availability, a hospitality room is available upon request.

Permitted Activities: Basketball and volleyball competition, exhibition, formal event, party, religious occasion, sports/athletics, class, filming, market/boutique, performance, screening, carnival, convention/trade show, fitness, dance, political gathering, rehearsal, seminar/conference. Activities that allowed: Soccer, roller skating, baseball/softball, weight competition or other activities that may damage wood floor.

Additional fees:  Depending on the nature, day/time, and size of event, additional fees may be charged for supervision, custodial, security, sound system, floor cover and setup costs.

Auxiliary (Lower) Gymnasium

  • Teraflex Sport floor gymnasium with no spectator stands. 
  • Limited seating on edge of court or standing only from balcony.

  • Rental Includes: basketball hoops, guest wifi (limited bandwidth), limited tables/ chairs, and limited extension cables, access to locker rooms.

Additional fees: Depending on the nature, day/time, and size of event, additional fees may be charged for supervision, custodial, security, sound system, floor cover and set-up costs.

Permitted Activities:  Exhibition, party (some limitations), religious occasion, sports/athletics, class, filming, market/boutique, performance, screening, carnival, convention/trade show, fitness, dance (some limitations) , political gathering, rehearsal, seminar/conference. Contact us if your activity is not listed. Some activities may be limited to protect gym floor.

Activites not allowed: weight lifting, roller skating other activities that would require equipment that could damage the floor.

Swimming Pool

  • 25-yard pool with up to 6 lanes  
  • Seating for 100-120 spectators.
  • Rentals Include: guest wifi (limited bandwidth), limited tables/ chairs, and limited extension cables.
  • Events will require certified lifeguards.  Lifeguards can be provided ($15/hour/guard) depending on availability.
