MSUB Alumna Receives Gold Star Award

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES 鈥� MSU Billings alumna Ashley Williams was recently awarded a gold star award by KULR8 news.

 

Williams is currently a third grade teacher at Lockwood Elementary School. According to KULR8 News, 鈥淎shley was nominated because parents say she goes above and beyond what her responsibilities are as a teacher.鈥�

 

Williams stated that teaching students has been a dream of hers since she can remember. She thoroughly enjoys helping her third graders learn and grow.

 

鈥淎shley is a great example of the excellence that can come from the education degrees offered here at MSUB, and we are proud to congratulate her for this great achievement,鈥� shared Dr. Kari Dahle-Huff.

 

Williams graduated from MSU Billings鈥� Masters of Education-Reading program at the College of Education.
