MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES 鈥 The 麻豆官网首页入口免费 Department of Art has announced the launch of Zachary Hinkle鈥檚 senior thesis exhibition, Extracts from Interfering Air.
The exhibition will be held at the Student Gallery inside the Liberal Arts building on the MSUB campus. It will run from Feb. 26 through March 16, with a closing reception on March 15. This event is free and open to the public.

Zachary Hinkle is a multimedia artist working in painting, installation, sculpture, and drawing. This is Zach鈥檚 final semester here at MSUB, where he is working towards his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
鈥淓xtracts from Interfering Air is a sculptural exhibition that takes advantage of the overabundance of material things that are ever present in our daily lives,鈥 Hinkle stated. 鈥淯sing objects that are mass produced, cheap, and widely available, I create assemblages that entice the viewer to form new and personal associations with things that would normally go overlooked. I am interested in the pictorial potential of the everyday. The stuff that we choose to surround ourselves with is full of significance in form as well as function and practicality. The results do not reference recognizable forms. They are deconstructed to the point that meaning is shifted and various interpretations become manifested.鈥
The Student Gallery is located inside the Liberal Arts building on the first floor.
