MSU Billings student named 2018 Newman Civic Fellow

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES 鈥 麻豆官网首页入口免费 student Halle Keltner has received a Newman Civic Fellowship. She is one of who will make up the organization鈥檚 2018 Campus Compact cohort of Newman Civic Fellows.
Keltner is a junior pursuing her Political Science Bachelor of Science degree. She is actively involved on campus as an ASMSUB senator, orientation peer leader, LEAD member, and works in the Office for Community Involvement as a Service Project Coordinator. Her hometown is Terry, Montana.
鈥淗alle truly has a great passion for bringing people together and does this through her current campus involvement as a student at MSU Billings,鈥 remarked Interim Chancellor Ron Larsen. 鈥淗alle is an amazing, well-rounded, student who works hard at every task she is given and encourages other students to make a difference. We are proud to have Halle serve as a Newman Civic Fellow on behalf of our university.鈥
The Newman Civic Fellowship, named for Campus Compact co-founder Frank Newman, is a one-year experience emphasizing personal, professional, and civic growth. Through the fellowship, Campus Compact provides a variety of learning and networking opportunities, including a national conference of Newman Civic Fellows in partnership with the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.
