Section 1018 Self-Service
IAW Section 1018, individual financial aid information will be available to any student using VA education benefits prior to their 15th day of class. This information will be available in each students MyInfo profile under the Financial Aid tab/ College Financing Plan. This is your key document in understanding additional college funding.

The VA covers resident tuition for Chapter 31 and Chapter 33 students. Chapter 33 is covered at the students eligibility percentage. For students living out of state, and at 100% Chapter 33, we offer Yellow Ribbon. All other benefit types are paid directly to the student.

An advisor will be able to evaluate any transfer credits you may have from another school. MSU Billings accepts transfer credits from any accredited institution. Additional requirements including training, experience, or examinations that are required to obtain a license, certification or approval for which the course of education prepares the individual should be addressed with MSUB advising staff.
